Sessions are supplemented by the use of digitized learning tools such as databases and packages namely Stata, Minitab, SPSS, and Win QSB. To further facilitate digitized learning in online tutoring, graphical/ digital tablets, the Microsoft Whiteboard, and screen sharing options are used so that Student(s) get a similar feel of a live classroom.

Emphasis on interpreting findings and results:

While evaluating existing literature and in order to use quantitative tools for the analysis of the data indigenously, it is imperative to assess the theoretical and empirical relevance of results, and how to plan for further improvement in estimates.

Regardless of your preferences for qualitative research, doing quantitative research and the ability to evaluate quantitative works should not be a limitation/ inability, for persons who have their full career ahead.

About the faculty:

Faculty in Statistics, Computing for Social Sciences, and Econometrics, has a long-standing interest and expertise in teaching Econometrics courses for over 19 years, at Bachelor’s and Master’s level.

Along with teaching, the faculty person extensively adapted tools of statistics, game theory, mathematics of optimization, and of econometric modeling, in his researches, and as part of the thesis supervision experience.

Worked as a consultant on two contractual projects.
